Cappadocia - Rose Valley

Pretty much the only way to see Cappadocia is by tour.  The other option is to rent a car.  Car rentals are expensive and also require the ability to drive a stick shift, a talent that both The Husband and I are lacking in.

We booked an all day tour through our hotel's travel agency.  I believe the cost was 30 Euros/person for an entire day, including all entrance fees and lunch.

Our first stop was a hike through the Rose Valley which we had seen the day before from our hot air balloon. It was a great opportunity to get closer to the rock formations that we had seen from above.

Neato! Reminds me a little of the cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde in Colorado.
